Swing Dance Classes in the Hudson Valley
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
We teach authentic style Lindy Hop born out of the Savoy
Ballroom in Harlem, NY and danced worldwide. Our
teacher was
Frankie Manning, featured on Ken Burns'
Jazz series and documentaries.

Also known as Lindy, East Coast Swing or Jitterbug,
Lindy Hop is a fun style of dance immensely popular since
the 1930s. It is often done to big band music like Count
Basie and also to rock and roll. Whether you are looking
for a new hobby, to meet new friends or are getting ready
to dance at a wedding or event, swing is the most versatile
and fun partner dance around. There are many
opportunities to go swing dancing in the Hudson Valley
and beyond.
