Our teacher was the greatest Lindy Hopper that ever lived.
We teach authentic style Lindy Hop born out of the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, NY and danced worldwide. Our foremost teacher was Frankie Manning, featured on Ken Burns' Jazz series and documentaries.
Also known as Lindy, East Coast Swing or Jitterbug, Lindy Hop is a fun style of dance immensely popular since the 1930s. It is often done to big band music like Count Basie and also to rock and roll. Whether you are looking for a new hobby, to meet new friends or are getting ready to dance at a wedding or event, swing is the most versatile and fun partner dance around. There are many opportunities to go swing dancing in the Hudson Valley and beyond.

TECHNIQUE CLINICS
DANCE BETTER. FASTER.
Designed for those who already know swing dance basics.
These hour-and-a-half Technique Clinics are held monthly before our Big Monthly Dance and form an integral backbone to our students' learning. Each clinic focuses on a core aspect to work on and improve specific aspects of your dance-ability including musicality, leading and following, frame and connection, momentum and more. WORKSHOPS
EXPAND YOUR DANCE-ABILITY
Workshops occur on a single date, making them perfect for those who can't come to weekly classes, who enjoy a single lesson, or who want to broaden their class learning. Usually held in our Newburgh Studio on the Last Saturday of each month, and occasional Sunday afternoons. (On Summer Hiatus)
